TERMS OF PURCHASE

These Terms of Purchase apply to purchases made through Human Scales at humanscales.se.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

DELIVERIES

Orders are processed and dispatched as quickly as possible.

Sweden

The estimated delivery time within Sweden is normally 1–2 business days after your order has been processed and dispatched.

International Orders

Delivery times for international orders vary depending on the destination and selected shipping method. Available shipping options and applicable shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipping and tracking information when available.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control. If we are unable to fulfil or dispatch your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Shipping Carriers

We currently use the following primary shipping carriers:

• Sweden: Bring

• Denmark: Bring

• Finland: Bring

• Other international destinations: UPS

The available delivery service for your order will be displayed at checkout where applicable.

Human Scales reserves the right to use an alternative carrier when necessary to complete a delivery.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs depend on your delivery country, order value and selected shipping method.

The applicable shipping cost, including any available free-shipping threshold, will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

DUTIES & TAXES

European Union

For orders delivered within the European Union, no additional customs duties are charged upon delivery.

Norway

For orders delivered to Norway, Human Scales covers applicable import VAT and customs duties.

Customers in Norway will not be charged additional import VAT or customs duties upon delivery.

Other Countries Outside the European Union

Orders delivered to countries outside the European Union, with the exception of Norway as described above, may be subject to local customs duties, import taxes and other import-related fees.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.

TRANSPORT DAMAGE

If your package or its contents have been damaged during transportation, please contact Human Scales Customer Service as soon as possible.

Please include your order number and photographs of the damaged package and/or product where possible. This will help us process your claim efficiently.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

You have the right to return your purchase within 30 days of receiving your order.

Products must be returned unused and in their original condition, with all original tags attached. You may carefully try on a product to determine its fit, in the same way you would in a physical store.

For hygiene reasons, certain products may be excluded from the right of return where permitted by applicable law. Any such restriction will be clearly communicated for the relevant product.

Exchanges

Human Scales offers free exchanges in markets where this service is available.

Available exchange options and instructions are provided through our return process.

Return Shipping

Return shipping fees and available return methods vary by market and are communicated through our return process.

If you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective product and your claim is approved, Human Scales will cover the applicable return shipping cost.

All returned products must be appropriately packaged to prevent damage during transportation. Please do not attach shipping labels directly to product packaging where doing so may damage the original packaging.

Once your return has been received and approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

RETURN ADDRESS

Returns should be made according to the instructions provided through our return process.

Please do not send a return without following the applicable return instructions.

PAYMENT

Available payment methods depend on your country, currency and order and are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Credit and Debit Cards

We accept the credit and debit cards displayed as available in our checkout.

There is no additional Human Scales fee for paying by card.

If an order paid by card is returned and approved for a refund, the refund will normally be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Payment information is handled securely by our payment providers. Human Scales does not store your complete card details.

Klarna

Klarna is available in supported markets.

The specific Klarna payment methods available to you depend on factors such as your country, currency and eligibility and will be displayed at checkout.

If Klarna is displayed as a payment option in your checkout, you can select it when completing your purchase.

Any payment terms, credit assessment, payment deadlines, late fees or other conditions associated with a Klarna payment method are determined by Klarna and presented to you when you select that payment method.

Human Scales does not determine whether an individual customer is approved for a particular Klarna payment option.

Other Payment Methods

Additional payment methods may be available depending on your market.

The payment methods displayed at checkout are the methods currently available for your order.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once your order has been successfully placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.

Please check your order confirmation and contact us as soon as possible if any information appears incorrect.

We reserve the right to cancel an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, stock discrepancy, suspected fraud or another circumstance that prevents us from fulfilling the order.

REFUNDS

Once an eligible return has been received and approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times after a refund has been issued may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges are not refunded unless required by applicable consumer law or the return is the result of an error by Human Scales.

PERSONAL DATA & SECURITY

Human Scales processes personal information necessary to manage orders, payments, deliveries, returns and customer service.

Payment information is handled through secure payment providers and encrypted connections.

PRODUCT INFORMATION & AVAILABILITY

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, images, prices and availability information.

However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen and device settings, and minor variations between products and production batches may occur.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors, typographical errors and inaccurate product information.

Products may sell out, and placing an item in your shopping cart does not guarantee availability until your order has been successfully completed.

FORCE MAJEURE

Human Scales is not responsible for delays or failure to fulfil an obligation where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, governmental actions, war, major technical failures or similar events.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in these Terms of Purchase limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.

Where applicable consumer legislation provides you with greater rights than these Terms of Purchase, the applicable legislation will prevail.

In the event of a dispute, Swedish customers may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN). Consumers in other markets may also have access to applicable local or European consumer dispute resolution procedures.
